About AudioBypasser™

AudioBypasser™ is a free, browser-based audio editor for changing playback speed. Upload one file or a batch, pick a speed or the length you want, preview the result, and export MP3. There is nothing to download or install.

How it works

Your browser decodes each file, resamples it to the new speed with cubic interpolation, and encodes MP3 with the open-source LAME encoder. Speeding up applies a low-pass filter first, so the result stays clean.

Private by design

Everything happens on your device. Your audio is never uploaded, and your original files are never changed.

Target Duration

Type the length you want, such as 3:00 or 1:05:00. The speed is calculated as original duration ÷ target duration, separately for every file.

Good to know

Pitch changes together with speed. Exports keep the original title, artist, album, cover and similar tags. MP3 adds a few hundredths of a second of standard encoder padding.
